2. Take the Test: Our club offers local testing sessions with friendly volunteer examiners. We're here to help you succeed.

3. Get On The Air: Once you pass, you'll get your official call sign from the FCC. Congratulations, you're a ham!

The best part of ham radio is the people. By joining the Detroit Lakes Amateur Radio Club, you'll get access to experienced mentors ("Elmers"), club equipment, and fun events. We'll help you pick your first radio and make your first contact!
